My usual go to for an appetizer sure to please when having a cook-out is ABT's (atomic buffalo turds). But I had been reading about a similar recipe that I knew I had to try...Pig Shots!

This was a very simple recipe and it was a HUGE hit. They are now in my permanent rotation for appetizers at a gathering.

 - Kielbasa x 2
 - 2 lbs. of Thick Cut Bacon
 - 12 oz. of Softened Cream Cheese
 - 3/4 Cup of Shredded Cheese (I used cheddar)
 - 3 oz. Diced Green Chiles
 - 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
 - 1/2 tsp Cayenne Pepper
 - 1/2 tsp Chili Powder
 - 3/4 tsp BBQ Rub (I used Dizzy Pig Dizzy Dust)

1. Cut Kielbasa into 1/2" thick pieces.
2. Wrap a half slice of bacon around cut sausage and secure with a toothpick.
3. Mix Cream Cheese, Chiles and Shredded Cheese together.
4. Place Cream Cheese Mixture into plastic sandwich bag and cut a small piece of the corner out. Use this to pip cream cheese mixture into the bacon wrapped kielbasa.
5. Mix brown sugar, cayenne pepper and chili powder together. Sprinkle mixture on top of your Pig Shots.
6. Sprinkle Pig Shots with BBQ Rub of choice.
7. Prepare your Grill / Smoker for indirect cooking at 325 degrees.
8. Cook Pig Shots for approximately 60-70 minutes or until the bacon is cooked to your desired doneness.
9. Remove from cooker, let cool for 5 minutes, ENJOY!

I promise you, this recipe will not disappoint! Happy Cooking!
