Shipping and Returns
How much do you charge for shipping?
  Our low Shipping and Handling charges are based on the value of your order. The rates are as follows:
  • $.01 to $100.00 = $7.99 for shipping/handling
  • $100.01 and over = $4.99 for shipping/handling
Sales Tax: 6% sales tax will be charged on all orders shipped to Maryland

Free Shipping: We offer free shipping on some of our items. If an item qualifies for Free Shipping it will be displayed on the product detail page. Free shipping is only valid for the 48 contiguous states. Shipping and handling will apply to areas outside of the 48 contiguous states. Shipping and handling may also apply to some remote areas of the 48 contiguous states.
What are your Shipping Policies?
  Most orders received by 2:00PM (EST) Monday through Friday will be shipped within 24 hours. Please note: certain items may have an extended processing time, so it may take more than 24 hours before the item is shipped. Items with extended processing time will be stated within the description.  If you have created an account when placing your order, you may click the "My Account" link at the top of our site to track the status of your order. You will receive a shipment confirmation containing your tracking information via email when your order has shipped.

Most orders are shipped standard ground service via FedEx, UPS or USPS. Please allow 3 to 7 business days for standard ground service. We reserve the right to select the best carrier for the delivery of your order. Please inspect your order for any damages upon receipt. Damages must be reported to us within 7 business days upon receipt or claims will be denied.
 
Next Day Air and Second Day Air delivery is available at an additional charge. For an express delivery shipping quote please contact us at 1-888-908-YARD during normal business hours or use our Contact Us Form. Be sure to list all items you wish to purchase as well as the complete shipping address and express shipping option you would like quoted. Items that are considered Hazardous Materials and some oversized / overweight items cannot be shipped next day or second day air and must go by standard ground service. Next Day Air and Second Day Air delivery is only available for “next business day” delivery. Weekend and holiday delivery is not available.

> Shipping Items via Motor Freight Carrier:

Oversized and or overweight items ship via motor freight carrier. There may be a longer delivery time associated with these items. This will be indicated within the description of the item. These items will be delivered via a motor freight company of our choosing. The item will be delivered curbside only. You will be contacted by the motor freight company to schedule the delivery. Please provide a daytime phone number when placing your order. A person 18 years or older must be present to sign and receive the item. The driver may require your assistance in getting the item off the truck. The buyer will be responsible for all additional charges if:
  • The buyer refuses the delivery for any reason.
  • The buyer is not present at the time of the scheduled delivery.
  • The buyer provides the incorrect contact information
Damaged Items via Motor Freight:

Please take the time to carefully inspect the item upon delivery. Do not sign for the item until you have inspected the items very carefully. If your item is damaged DO NOT REFUSE DELIVERY. Please make sure all damage is noted on your delivery receipt before signing. Then contact us at 1-888-908-YARD and we will make arrangements to have the damaged items returned and the replacement items sent out. Damage claims must be reported to Yardandpool.com within 3 business days of receipt of your items. Damaged freight shipments not inspected at the time of delivery may not be fully covered for replacement.

> Shipping outside the 48 contiguous states:

We will be happy to ship all products to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, U.S. Territories and Canada that are not classified as a Hazardous Materials or an oversized / overweight item. Buyer is responsible for all shipping charges for orders shipped outside the 48 contiguous states. Please be aware that our quotes for shipping outside the U.S. and Puerto Rico do not include any applicable duty, value added taxes (VAT), or import consumption taxes. The recipient of the merchandise will be required to pay the duty or VAT upon delivery. Due to import duty valuation adjustments and currency valuations, we are unable to provide an estimate for duty or VAT.

If you wish to have your order shipped outside the 48 contiguous states, please contact us at 1-888-908-YARD or use our Contact Us Form. Please list the items you wish to purchase and complete shipping address. Buyer is also responsible for all shipping charges including returns and manufacturer warranty claims. Our returns policy does not cover any shipping charges for orders outside of the 48 contiguous states. If buyer refuses delivery of the order, buyer will also be responsible for return delivery charges.

What is your Return Policy?
  Items that are new, unopened and in its original packaging including all paperwork and manuals may be returned within 30 days of receipt. Certain products are not returnable. Please see non-returnable products list below.

All products that require shipping via motor freight will incur a 30% re-stocking fee. Customer is responsible for all shipping costs. This includes actual shipping costs to customer regardless of whether or not shipping was originally charged and customer is responsible for return shipping fees.

All returns must include a RMA# issued by Yardandpool.com or it will be refused. To request a RMA#, please use our Contact Us Form or call us during normal business hours. Be sure to include your Order ID, items you wish to return and reason for return. Once your return has been approved, you will be notified via email with your RMA# and return instructions. Customer is responsible for all shipping and handling fees incurred regardless of whether or not shipping and handling fees were originally charged. This includes “Free Shipping” promotions or coupon codes. Customer is also responsible for all return shipping costs. Product(s) must be returned within 14 days of RMA number issuing. If product is not returned within 14 days of RMA number issuing, the product will be refused and customer will be responsible for applicable shipping charges. Please note, it can take up to 10 business days for your credit to be issued once we have received your item.

Please review conditions for return below:
  • Product(s) must be in original packaging including all paperwork and manuals.
  • Product(s) CANNOT be used. Used items or items not in original packaging will be refused and customer will be responsible for return shipping costs.
  • The package you are returning must include RMA# issued by Yardandpool.com. Please contact us and we will issue you a RMA# for your return.
  • Return request must be initiated within 30 days of receipt of product(s).
  • Product(s) must be returned within 14 days of RMA# issuing.
  • Product(s) must be returned to the correct address listed in the return instructions.
  • If product(s) was shipped via Motor Freight, customer is responsible to package the product(s) for shipping as per the carrier’s guidelines.
  • Product(s) cannot be on the Non-Returnable Products list.
Non-Returnable Products List:
  • Used items
  • Items not in original packing or that do not have all original paperwork or manuals
  • Products made specifically from/to customer’s specifications
  • Chemicals
  • Paint
  • Spa Covers
  • Pool Safety Covers
  • Barbeque Rubs and Sauces
  • Grilling/Smoker wood chips, chunks and planks
  • Items indicated as "special order", "clearance" and "scratch and dent" are considered final sales, and therefore not returnable/non-refundable
I received the wrong product.

Customers who receive an incorrect item due to Yardandpool.com’s error must contact us by using our Contact Us Form or call us at 1-888-908-YARD within 7 business days upon receipt of merchandise. Once we have received the request, we will send you a return label and issue a RMA#. Upon receipt of the wrong item, we will ship out the correct item or refund the purchase price right away. Items received after 30 days will be refused and returned. The correct item(s) will only be re-shipped via standard ground service.

Defective Items or Missing Parts

If an item was defective upon receipt or parts are missing, it is considered a warranty claim. Please see the warranty claim section below. Customer may still return the item for credit following our Return Policy guidelines only after the customer has completed the warranty claim and the issue could not be resolved by manufacturer. Warranty Claims:

Yardandpool.com does not warrant any product it sells. Warranty claims on items that are covered under a manufacturer’s warranty must be submitted to the manufacturer directly unless otherwise stated. Manufacturers of the products sold on Yardandpool.com are responsible for all warranty issues.  If an item was defective upon receipt, becomes defective or has missing parts, it is considered a warranty claim. Please note: UPS, FedEx, and USPS will not deliver a package that is damaged. If you receive a damaged box, do not open it, and contact the shipping company right away. I received the wrong product.
  If you feel that you have received the wrong product, please contact customer service within 72 hours of receiving the product.
When will my order ship?
